Not long after sunrise in New Orleans, you can sometimes find the streets of the French Quarter fairly empty. Even St. Louis Cathedral can be found without people for a few minutes at a time. This color photograph shows St. Louis Cathedral with rain clouds, but no people. The flag in front flies at half mast, and General Jackson sits proudly on his horse in Jackson Square while the palm trees wait for the morning breeze.
